Meet Giuliano

My name is Giuliano, and I’ve been photographing weddings for over 15 years.
But what truly moves me is not just the photography it’s the emotion of witnessing a new family being born, every single time.

Mental health is not a trend for me. I have seen up close how deeply it can touch a family, and this has shaped the way I work. My priority is to create a calm, welcoming space where you feel seen, never judged. For me a wedding is not just an event to capture, but a delicate chapter in the lives of real people, with their own stories, emotions and vulnerabilities.

I’m a simple, generous person who genuinely loves making people feel good.
My approach is relaxed, respectful, and discreet.
I don’t look for the perfect pose—I look for the truth hidden in gestures, glances, and all the little in-between moments.

I believe photography is not just a job — it’s a form of care. A way to protect and preserve moments that truly matter.
I love music, cooking, travel, and all the beautiful things that make us feel alive.

And when I work, I have one goal: to make you feel at home.
So you can enjoy your day fully, knowing that someone is gently capturing your story with heart, presence, and soul. I’ve also hosted more than 150 guests through Airbnb—and received all 5-star reviews.

Why mention this? Because I’ve learned how to make people from all over the world feel at ease, comfortable, and truly at home. Whether I’m welcoming someone to my home or documenting their wedding day, my goal is always the same:
to create a space where you can relax, be yourself, and enjoy the moment.

why rome?

best areas for photos in rome

Rome is incredibly diverse, even within a short distance. These are some of my favorite spots, chosen for atmosphere, light, and variety.

Trastevere for cobblestone streets, ivy covered walls, and that lived in Roman feeling
Aventine Hill for the Giardino degli Aranci, quiet corners, and elegant greenery
Gianicolo for panoramic views over the rooftops, especially near sunset
Centro Storico for timeless streets like Via dei Coronari, hidden alleys, and soft stone textures
Pantheon area and Piazza Navona early in the morning for a classic Rome look with fewer crowds
Villa Borghese for park light, tree lined paths, and a more intimate, natural backdrop
Ponte Sant’Angelo for cinematic views toward Castel Sant’Angelo and the river
Your hotel or venue for the most personal, relaxed images, often the most meaningful

Tip: if you want Rome to feel calm and yours, the best photos usually happen early morning or golden hour.

how i work in rome

Rome is beautiful and busy, so my job is to make it feel effortless, calm, and well timed.

A simple plan, not a rigid schedule. I propose a short route based on your ceremony, where you are staying, and the best light at that time of year
Crowd smart timing. For iconic areas, I guide you toward the right hours so we can enjoy Rome without fighting tourists
Minimal moving. I keep locations close and choose spots that give variety within a short walk, so you never feel rushed
Light first. I look for open shade, flattering angles, and clean backgrounds, especially in the historic center where contrast can be strong
Permits and access. Some historic sites, private gardens, and indoor locations may require authorization. If needed, I coordinate with your planner and suggest alternatives that look just as beautiful
Fast, natural portraits. I keep portrait time short and relaxed, usually 15 to 25 minutes, and focus on genuine connection rather than posing
Always discreet. The day stays yours. I blend in and capture real moments, then step in only when it helps

a simple photo plan for rome

If you want Rome to feel elegant and relaxed, this is the photo flow that usually works best.

Option A: Morning city walk
Start early in the historic center for quiet streets and soft light. Perfect for couples who love iconic Rome without crowds.

Option B: Golden hour session
A short walk near your venue or a scenic viewpoint in the late afternoon. Ideal for warm, romantic light and a calm pace.

Option C: Split session, best of both
10 to 15 minutes around your getting ready location, then a longer session at golden hour. You get variety without spending the whole day taking photos.

What I typically suggest: one main area, plus one backup spot nearby, so you can stay present and never feel rushed. If you share your ceremony time and where you are staying, I will propose the best route with two or three precise location options.
