Some wedding days are remembered for their beauty. Others stay with you because of the people, the laughter and the feeling of being completely present. Irene and Harrison’s celebration at Borgo di Tragliata, on 19 September 2025, had all of those things.
With Italian and English family and friends gathered in the countryside near Rome, their day felt elegant without ever losing its warmth or spontaneity.
A quiet moment before the ceremony
Before joining their guests, Irene and Harrison chose to see each other. Their first look gave them a moment together among the Borgo’s stone buildings and gardens—a gentle pause before the celebrations began.
Irene’s lace dress, Harrison’s white dinner jacket and the natural setting made for beautiful portraits. What I remember most, though, is how easily they laughed together.
A garden ceremony at Borgo di Tragliata
The ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by trees, open countryside and the people closest to them. As Irene and Harrison exchanged their vows and rings, the setting gave everyone space to share in the emotion of the moment.
Afterwards, the celebration flowed into an aperitivo, conversations and photographs with family and friends. The relaxed atmosphere was as important to the story of the day as its carefully chosen details.
Speeches, bucatini and a night to remember
Dinner brought everyone together beneath the evening lights. There were heartfelt speeches, music and plenty of laughter—including Harrison’s story about his first encounter with bucatini, which became one of the day’s most memorable jokes.
Later came the cake, fireworks and dancing. From the quiet moments before the ceremony to the energy of the party, Irene and Harrison’s photographs tell the story of a wedding that felt unmistakably their own.
